What an Experience 

 
Saints plan to take part in the Football Festival being held at Haven Ayr again next year, the dates are 16-19 April 2010.

 Over the last two seasons we have travelled to Ayr at Easter and had a great time playing teams from all over the United Kingdom.  Also the night time fun has been great, especially for the players who showed some fantastic footwork on the dancefloor.

Fundraising to raise the £6000 needed to make the trip to Ayr starts now, sponsored walks and fundraising functions will be organized over the coming months and all need your support.

If you have any ideas which will get us on target for Haven, please let us know so that we can all pitch in and have another fantastic trip.

Types of accommodation available for Haven are available as downloads on the Club Website www.saintsboysfc.com ,they show the prices for each type of caravan or apartment.

The following is a summary of prices and Terms and Conditions for each family travelling to the Tournament.

STANDARD CARAVAN

Minimum occupancy of 4 at £296 (£74 per person)

Club pays £196

Family pays £100

Total £296

Any more than 4 per family an extra £74 per person up to 6 occupants is payable by the Family. (See the end of the letter for more info on this, and how we will endeavour to keep costs down).

SILVER CARAVAN

Minimum occupancy of 4 at £336 (£84 per person)

Club pays £196

Family pays £140

Total £336

GOLD CARAVAN

Minimum occupancy of 4 at £376 (£94 per person)

Club pays £196

A deposit of £25 per person (min 4 per caravan=£100) is required by the end of November and is non returnable by Haven to the Club. The remainder of the cost must be paid by 19 Feb 2010.

Any amendments to bookings will have a charge of £20 per alteration levied against the club.

As you can see we do not have much time to pay the deposit and ensure we have enough funds in the Club account to pay for our trip. The deposit was actually due in by the end of October but I have negotiated an extra month to raise the cash, the confirmed bookings must be in by 23 Oct 2009 though. This means that you do not have long to make a decision on whether you will be making the trip to Haven and paying the £100 deposit (or more depending on type of caravan). I would add that if you book your place you are committed to paying the deposit.

I mentioned keeping costs down, and we plan to do this by using common sense, if a family has only 3 persons in a caravan and another has 5 we will book the 5th member into a caravan with only 3. This has worked for us for the last two years and has kept costs down, I would add that if a family wishes to book an extra caravan they can do so via the Club but the cost must be paid in advance as the Club has in the past lost money with caravans being booked and not being paid for.

Wristbands will again be issued on arrival in Haven; the wristbands will be issued on an individual Club basis IE: if we go to Haven with 33 individuals we will be issued 33 wristbands. The wristbands will be required for entry to almost everything during the event as proof of paying for the weekend.
